Toyo Kanetsu Cup: 1st Kansai Women's Rising Stars Tournament - Live Commentary Event on August 31 at Kansai Shogi Hall
This tournament features a knockout competition among 16 participants, including young female professional shogi players (1-dan and under) and female training group members based in the Kansai region. The semifinals and finals will be held at Tachibanaya, a historic traditional ryokan (Japanese inn) with a 122-year history, located in Arida City, where the Toyo Kanetsu Wakayama Plant is located. Through this special sponsorship, we aim to support the success of these talented shogi players, contribute to the local community, and promote the development of Japanese culture.
