Our company is pleased to be a special sponsor of the "1st Toyo Kanetsu Cup Kansai Women's Amateur Shogi Tournament," organized by the Japan Shogi Association (a public interest incorporated association).
This tournament features a knockout competition among 16 young female shogi players in the Kansai region (ranked 1-dan and below) and other female group members. The semifinals and final will be held at Tachibanaya, a historic traditional inn with a 122-year history located in Arida City, where our Wakayama Plant is situated.
Through this special sponsorship, we aim to support the activities of talented shogi players and contribute to the development of Japanese culture, while also giving back to the local community.
