TKSL to participate in a joint research and development consortium, "Terminal.0 HANEDA" project, planned by Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. and whose primary aim is to work across industries, collaborating to solve issues at Haneda Airport.
Japan Airport Building is starting a new open innovation initiative called 'Terminal.0 HANEDA' in January 2024 at HANEDA INNOVATION CITY, aiming to address various issues at Haneda Airport and to contribute to achieving the goal of becoming 'The World's Best Airport' that is consistently chosen by customers.
Toyo Kanetsu has already supplied high quality Baggage Handling System (BHS) and automated baggage drop machines to Haneda Airport. This time, however, the company aims to collaborate with diverse industries to closely support customers in line with the goals of Japan Airport Building. We plan on improving current systems and offer new value by participating in the development of forward-looking solutions and contributing with an eye toward the future.
Through this initiative, Toyo Kanetsu aims to deepen its insights and continue contributing to the development of airports not only domestically but globally.
