Announcement Concerning Investment in First Order Co.

Toyo Kanetsu K.K. (Head Office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Owada; hereinafter referred to as "TKK") announced that
it has entered into an agreement with First Order Corporation, a developer of various cloud platforms and software
specializing in the logistics industry (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuto Yoshida; hereinafter "First Order").
The investment was made through partial allocation of third party shares.

 
 1. Purpose of investment
  In recent years, Toyo Kanetsu has been putting much effort into developing its mainstay E-commerce and co-op business,
  which is currently expanding dramatically in Japan. By improving and expanding overall engineering and consulting services
  toward providing greater functionality and processes from product receiving to shipping, Toyo Kanetsu can not only
  better serve customers but provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  First Order was established in 2018 by several founders that have a wealth of experience in developing systems for logistics
  and retail industries. The Company develops and sells cloud-based systems and software, specifically WMS (warehouse
  management systems) and TMS (transport management systems), utilizing cutting-edge technology.
  This investment will not only strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two companies, it will give TKK the ability
  to fuse First Order's strengths in developing supply chain management systems, specifically receiving and shipping processes,
  to TKK's core competencies in material handling systems.
  By doing so, TKK can accelerate development of next generations solutions, contributing to customers' strategic plans
  while expanding its business to various other markets and verticals.
